The Yaak Valley Forest Council holds the annual Lincoln County Photo Contest to raise awareness for wild places and strengthen community connections through wild experiences. Beginning in 2014, the contest has brought together photographers of all skill levels submitting hundreds of entries that all demonstrate what makes the Yaak and greater Kootenai Forest area so special. We encourage all participants to submit photos that capture the beauty and uniqueness of the wild and remote Yaak area, as well as inspire compassion for our public lands. Contest winners receive a cash prize and will be recognized in YVFC newsletters, emails, and across our social media channels, while all finalists will be featured on our website.
If you would like to participate in this year’s photo contest, keep an eye on this page for more details and dates for submitting entries.
